Plagiarism Policy
1. Zero Tolerance for Plagiarism
Bookarion Journal of Social Sciences (BJSS) has a zero-tolerance policy regarding plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and duplicate publication. All manuscripts submitted to our journal are checked for originality.
2. Screening Process
Every submission is screened using professional software such as iThenticate or Turnitin before the peer-review process.
3. Similarity Limits
The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20% (excluding references). However, even if the overall score is low, high similarity to a single source may be grounds for rejection.
4. Actions Against Misconduct
If plagiarism is detected at any stage (before or after publication), the journal will follow Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines, which may include rejection or formal retraction.
