Author Guidelines

1. General Information

  • Originality: Bookarion Journal of Economics and Finance (BJEF) publishes original studies in the field of economics and finance. Authors must certify that the manuscript has not been submitted or published elsewhere.

  • Fees: BJEF is a non-profit, platinum open-access journal. It does not charge any article processing charges (APC) or submission fees.

  • Plagiarism: All submissions undergo similarity scanning via iThenticate or Turnitin. Manuscripts with a similarity rate exceeding 20% (excluding references) will be rejected.

2. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts must follow APA 7th edition style and should be organized as follows:

  1. Title

  2. Abstract

  3. Introduction

  4. Method

  5. Findings

  6. Discussion

  7. Conclusion and Suggestions

  8. References

  9. Appendix (If Applicable)

  • Ethical Standards: For research requiring ethics approval, details (board name, date, and approval number) must be explicitly stated in the Method section.

  • AI Disclosure: If generative AI tools were used during the writing process, a disclosure statement must be included before the References.

3. Page Layout & Style

  • Margins: Left 3 cm, Right 2 cm, Top & Bottom 2.5 cm.

  • Font & Spacing: Calibri, 11 pt, 1.5 line spacing. Tables and figures should use 10 pt and single spacing.

  • Submission Process: Initial submissions must be anonymized for double-blind review. Author details (Name, Institution, and ORCID ID) should only be included in a separate Title Page.

4. Copyright & Licensing

  • Open Access: BJEF is an open-access journal. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

  • Author Rights: Authors retain the full copyright and publishing rights of their work without any restrictions.
